Don't miss out on our Spring Soiree this year.
This is our annual chamber music event featuring both hidden and well-known talents within the Queensland Medical Orchestra and Choir. This year, we have an exciting program in store for you, including Mendelssohn's Piano Trio in D minor, the famous Trout Quintet by Franz Schubert, a flute duet performing excerpts from some of Mozart's most well-known operas, as well as the lyrical Flower Duet from Lakmé by Delibe, plus much more. The intimate musical afternoon will feature star performers including: Dr Michael Lam and Dr Julia Finch on cello, Professor Leonie Callaway, Dr Ryan Wiliams, Dr Jee Young and Professor Emma Duncan on piano, Dr Lily Vrtik & Dr Zhenya Welcyzko on flute, our concertmaster Dr Eleanor Robinson on violin, Dr Geoffrey Wu on clarinet, Dr Carl Bryant on Bassoon and Dr Cara Odenthal, our magical soprano, just to mention a few.
The concert will be held in the Ian Hanger Recital Hall, in the Griffith University Conservatorium on South Bank. Starting at 2pm on Sunday 28th October. This will be an afternoon filled with an amazing variety of chamber music, with a great line-up of performers. All proceeds from this concert will go to FAST (Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics), supporting families and children affected by this genetic disorder.
Don't forget this is a small event, so tickets are limited. Purchase yours today to avoid disappointment.
