Our upcoming 'Care to Dance?' concert on Sunday 9th April at the Brisbane City Hall will be performed in support of Palliative Care. Proceeds from our concert will be going to Karuna, a charity that provides palliative care for terminally ill patients and essential support to their families so that they can spend as much time together at home as possible. Karuna provides crucial services and phenomenal support for these patients and their families during a very difficult period of their lives. QMO recently lost one of our members to cancer in 2016 and we are very proud to support such an important charity, who have not only looked after one of our own, but thousands of cancer sufferers around Queensland. 'Care to Dance?' is a befitting event to raise awareness of this essential aspect of cancer treatment.
